About
Where ideas cross paths
Our mission
To create spaces where knowledge, history, the arts and ideas can be passed on, debated and shared. We organise lectures, courses, series and conversations, and we design bespoke cultural events for companies, institutions and private clients.
Our vision
A curious audience deserves better than a quick overview or a slogan. It deserves specialists who take their time, rooms where every word can be heard, and conversations that carry on after the last question. Our aim is a contemporary cultural house, discreet and exacting, open to French- and English-speaking audiences alike.
Our philosophy
Fewer events, better prepared. One subject, one voice, one place. We prefer depth to quantity, and conversation to performance. Elegance, for us, lies in the execution: the welcome, punctuality, the quality of sound and image, attention to detail.
Choosing our subjects
History, art history, philosophy, sociology, literature, heritage, architecture, civilisations, cultural geopolitics: we look for questions that shed light on the present, rather than subjects that happen to be in fashion. Each season follows a few threads, which our series allow you to pursue over time.
Choosing our speakers
Our speakers are specialists respected by their peers — academics, curators, writers, researchers, artists — who also know how to speak to those who are not. We meet them, we listen to them, and we ask of them what should be asked of any speaker: to say something precise.
Our ambition
To make conversation a pleasure, so that everyone leaves with a new idea, a book to read and the wish to talk it over. And to bring the same care, without ostentation, to the events that others entrust to us.
Come to a lecture, or imagine one with us.
